All elastomer shaft seals ("oil seals") installed in engines and gearboxes are subject to an ageing process. The sealing rings become hard over time and lose their sealing effect. The installation of new sealing rings is usually very labor-intensive and therefore costly and cannot be carried out everywhere. And you don't want to put up with the oil film on the water either.
By adding the sealing additive DropStop to the engine oil, the lost plasticizers are returned to the sealing rings. They cause the sealing rings to swell slightly and make them flexible again. As a result DropStop also suitable for valve stem seals.

Dosage
Use DropStop im Mischungsverhältnis 1:16, d.h. 250 ml DropStop auf 4 Liter Öl.

Application
