The cleaning set includes:
- 150 ml MATHY-ATR Automatic transmission cleaner
- 1,0 l MATHY-TA Automatic transmission oil additive
The MATHY automatic transmission cleaning set is used to clean and reduce wear in automatic transmissions. The cleaning set eliminates shifting problems, starting jerking and wear-related running noises and extends the service life of the automatic transmission. For optimum results, we recommend cleaning every 60,000 km.
Technical problems are reduced or eliminated
- Contamination in oil wells is removed
- Wear-related running noises are reduced
- Shifting problems and starting jerks are eliminated
- The internal friction coefficients in the automatic transmission are minimized
- Wear clearance on tooth flanks is compensated (increase in compressive strength)
- The ageing stability of the ATF oil is increased
Areas of application
The cleaning set can be used in all automatic transmissions that are filled with ATF oils.
Dosage
For cleaning: MATHY-ATR Automatic transmission cleaner (150 ml) is sufficient for transmission oil volumes of 3 to 6 liters.
For care and wear reduction: 10% MATHY-TA Add automatic transmission oil additive (500 ml) to the fresh ATF transmission oil. Maximum addition to the transmission oil: 10%
Example with 10%: 5.0 liters oil volume = 4.5 liters ATF oil + 500 ml MATHY-TA
Application
Step 1 Cleaning with MATHY-ATR:
Clean with the old ATF gear oil. The can contents of 150 ml MATHY-ATR to the warm transmission oil before changing the oil. Please ensure that the filling volume is not exceeded and drain some transmission oil if necessary. After adding the oil, drive for 15 minutes and shift through all gears several times. Then change the transmission oil when warm.
Step 2 the fresh oil filling with MATHY-TA:
After cleaning and changing the oil, fresh ATF gear oil + 10% MATHY-TA Top up with automatic transmission oil additive.

- H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
- EUH208: Contains 1-(tert-dodecylthio)propan-2-ol, acetamide, 2-hydroxy-, N,N-dicoco alkyl derivatives, 1,2-propanediol, 3-amino-, N,N-dicoco alkyl derivs. May cause allergic reactions.
