MATHY-AGR Diesel system cleaner for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)
MATHY-AGR is a highly effective exhaust gas recirculation valve cleaner (EGR valve) for diesel vehicles. With regular use of MATHY-AGR The build-up of carbonaceous residues in the exhaust gas recirculation system is reduced via the diesel fuel, thus minimizing repair costs. Contaminants are chemically broken down via the exhaust gas flow. Malfunctions caused by a contaminated EGR valve can thus be avoided in the long term.
The problem
Due to the increased proportion of biofuels in today's diesel fuels, frequent short journeys (stop and go) and the introduction of the Euro 5 standard, the exhaust gas recirculation system is under permanent strain in addition to the entire diesel system. This load is reflected in the build-up of coking (combustion residues) on mechanically moving components in the exhaust gas flow. These impurities cause most malfunctions in the exhaust gas recirculation valve. In extreme cases, the EGR valve gets stuck and the engine goes into the emergency running program.
The consequence
An uneven engine running, stuttering or jerky starting, black exhaust smoke, engine misfiring, increased fuel consumption, poor starting behavior, deterioration of the exhaust values, idling problems, severe loss of power and illumination of the engine control light or workshop light.

Dosage
The can content of 300 ml is sufficient for 50-60 liters of diesel fuel (B7).
Application
Simply add the can contents of 300 ml to the diesel fuel before refueling.
Note: The amount of fuel in the tank should be adjusted before adding MATHY-AGR must be at least 10 liters or correspond to the reserve volume.
It should be applied every 7,500 km for frequent short trips (less than 20 km) and every 15,000 km at the latest for "frequent drivers".
From 50,000 km mileage, we recommend a cleaning phase over 4 tank fillings with 4 x 300ml MATHY-AGR. A parallel use of MATHY-DPF is possible without any problems.
EGR valves that are already completely coked and the engine is running in the emergency running program can be cleaned with MATHY-AGR can no longer be cleaned.
